Connections

I kept returning to the space between the notebook and the lights behind him. It felt as if thought was becoming visible before it became language.

The books, window, diagrams and small points of light started to feel connected without needing to announce how. I noticed myself looking for the quiet relationships between things.

I don't know whether the image is about discovery or attention. Maybe those are closer than I first thought.
