Listening

The closed eyes were the first thing I noticed, but my attention kept returning to the faces in the distance. They feel present without interrupting the silence.

Listening begins to feel less like receiving sound and more like making room for relationship. The light seems to gather around attention rather than around certainty.

I found myself wondering how many voices can be held at once before they become noise, and what changes when they are allowed to remain distinct.
